Heating pad will heat the battery cells until the temperature reaches 5℃, and then the battery will be charged as normal. The heating time of the new self-heating battery is only 50% of the old model. No more worry about the battery being damaged by charging below 0℃. The operating temperature of -20℃ - 60℃ is significantly better than that of lead-acid batteries with -10℃ - 35℃.
