LiFePO4 lithium batteries require different charging conditions than lead-acid batteries, therefore we recommend using a LiFePO4 lithium battery charger.

Here are the charging options for the Power Queen lithium motorhome batteries.

(1) Lithium battery charger: Choose a charger with the appropriate voltage to charge the battery safely.

(2) Solar panels: Always use a solar charge controller with solar panels to ensure safe charging.

(3) Alternator or generator:

DC output: If your alternator or generator produces direct current, you will need a DC-to-DC charger to connect the battery.
AC output: If the generator has an AC output, use a compatible battery charger, as recommended in the product manual, to safely connect the battery and generator.

Yes, Power Queen deep cycle lithium motorhome batteries can be connected in series as well as in parallel.

Note: To connect batteries in series or parallel, they must meet the following requirements:

(1) The batteries must be identical with the same capacity (Ah) and BMS rating (A).

(2) They must be of the same brand, as lithium batteries of different brands have different BMS settings.

(3) They should be purchased promptly (preferably within one month).

Compared to conventional lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries (especially LiFePO4) offer the following advantages in motorhomes:

Lighter: The weight is about 1/3 that of a lead-acid battery with the same capacity.

Longer lifespan: The cycle life is up to more than 4,000 times.

Safer: Built-in BMS system with overcharge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection

Deep discharge: Supports 80~100% DOD (depth of discharge), higher energy efficiency

This depends, for example, on your electricity needs:

Short trips/weekend camping: 100Ah~200Ah is generally sufficient

Long-term camping/full-time travel: 300Ah~600Ah or higher capacity is recommended.

It is recommended to estimate the total power (Wh) based on the power consumption of your daily electrical devices and usage time, and then convert it into the required battery capacity (Ah).

Yes. Common charging methods include:

DC-DC charger: Charging the lithium battery via the vehicle's alternator, with multi-stage charging protection

Solar panel + MPPT controller: Charging during the day, environmentally friendly and efficient

External power supply + charger: Charging at the campsite or parking lot
