What is the goal of this tournament?

Raise money for The Candlelighters of Southwest Florida. Their important mission: to provide support, education, and assistance to families of children with cancer or blood disorders, as well as to the professionals who care for them.

We support charitable initiatives: We promote competitive fishing and help families in need.

Power Queen's Value: We care for every family member by providing safe, high-quality products tailored to their specific needs.

We proudly donated 3-12V 100Ah low-temperature lithium batteries to the top three finishers, as well as over $600 in raffle prizes to support this charity fishing tournament.

Since its inception in 2015, the Lake of the Woods Women's Walleye Tournament has quickly grown into a premier event recognized throughout Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, and parts of Minnesota. From its humble beginnings with just six teams, the tournament now boasts over 90 women's fishing teams. The event is dedicated to empowering women and celebrating their achievements in the sport. Held annually on the second Saturday in June, the tournament uses a "catch-photo-release" format to ensure fish are quickly returned to the water, increasing their survival rates and contributing to the preservation of natural resources and ecological balance.

To support the growth of competitive fishing and empower female athletes, we are proud to support these ambitious participants.

The club is dedicated to promoting collegiate bass fishing in Happy Valley.

It includes both experienced anglers and those interested in tournament fishing. In addition to competitions, club members participate in monthly community fishing projects, including workshops with boat dealers and fishing workshops.
