Every Power Queen LiFePO4 battery features a battery management system (BMS) that provides comprehensive protection against a variety of hazards. These include undervoltage during discharge, overvoltage during charging, overcurrent during discharging, overtemperature during both charging and discharging, and short-circuit events, preventing damage to the battery cells. Furthermore, Power Queen LiFePO4 batteries have been thoroughly tested and confirmed to be safe from fire and electric shock, even under extreme conditions.
The Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium battery has approximately twice the usable capacity of lead-acid and AGM batteries. So, if you want more usable battery time (amperes), swap to a battery with the same (or higher) amperage. For example, replacing a 100-amp battery with a Power Queen 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery will give you almost twice the usable amps but weigh half as much. If you want a battery that's small, lightweight, and economical, swap the 100-amp battery for a Power Queen 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery. You'll get roughly the same number of usable amps (time) but are cheaper and weigh only about one-sixth the weight.
Please note that your battery may have a low state of charge (SOC) upon delivery due to transport and storage. To avoid deep discharge, we recommend charging the battery immediately using an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller.
If you plan to store the battery for an extended period, we recommend charging it to a state of charge (SOC) of 30% to 50% and performing maintenance every three months. These measures will help ensure the battery's long-term performance and long-term performance.
